About this deal

Multiple Protections- This power inverter built-in multiple protections, such as over-voltage protection, over current and over temperature protection etc.

It can be applied to Makita lithium batteries; 4 batteries (high to low voltage) are used in turn , and 4 batteries have a design power display. Also, there’s no reason you couldn’t make use of the PDC1200 + XGT adaptor to run a XGT miter saw with legendary run time. I did some testing, and Makita batteries are setup in quite destructive way – over discharge protection is set around 8V. This is probably, because they wanted to squeeze as much Wh as they could, from battery – and did not care about lifetime. My biggest worry is running the makita charger(DC18SD), so I’m goin to be charging through the pure sine wave inverter so utilising 240v at 70w on the nameplate of the charger. The 2x XGT 40V Max batteries plug into this power station for charging, they are not used to power it.

Also 1800w max would be preferable- I have a corded Dewalt miter saw and Skil SPT-99 table saw I rather like, it would be great to have a silent and fume-free solution to power them in a pinch. Also used it a few times with either a 40w or 80w soldiering iron very handy saves having to set up an extension lead from the house. Safe and Secure: Equipped with a small fan and ventilation holes to increase the heat dissipation function. But I ran a full size fridge, an angle grinder, an air conditioner, a microwave (on medium high setting), and a small pancake air compressor. And this is still much more, then we will get in real life, because of buck converter voltage drop limit (more – later), battery discharge efficiency under heavy load etc. Since 12V inverter will be more useful to me, because I can also use it at my car, I’ve decided to go for step down. It would also be more enticing if the battery could stay attached/contained to the unit, and more systainers could remain on top while the inverter is in use.
